Today update report

Version 1.1.17

- provided greater development opportunities (protection) for new players:

          in Alpha Centauri and Sirius all Humans get shields = 90 for PVP

          in Rayon and Asherah all Lokans get shields = 90 for PVP

 

A little suggestion here - if you see enemies (even strong ones) in one of your home systems, don't run away, just attack with fury :) Even at low level (and with low level of equipment) you can win, because they only have 10% chance to hit.

I considered various solutions, but I think this change will be the most effective and will allow new players to grow (especially in star systems close to Sun/Quirius).

 

- increased cost of rescuing ships that were left outside of Outpost/Hive:

light ships - 1000 methane, 1000 magnetite

medium ships - 2000 methane, 2000 magnetite

heavy ships - 3000 methane, 3000 magnetite

 

- increased repair costs:

And so with durability = 0:

light ships - 5000 magnetite => 7500 magnetite

medium ships - 15000 magnetite => 20000 magnetite

heavy ships - 30000 magnetite => 37500 magnetite

 

- improved text selection system in PlayerLog window

- equalized volume of overlapping sounds

I still encourage all players who have already played UU to write comments on >MAIN PAGE<. Let's show newcomers that everything is fine with this game. This is the only way that can currently help. The case with itch.io is still ongoing - if nothing changes, Unending Universe and itch.io will part ways. I'm considering various scenarios, but these are just considerations for now.
