Saying thanks
First of all, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supports Unending Universe on Ko-Fi. As part of this "thank you", in addition to the standard surprise, I'm preparing new things for you (including unique icons). That's all for now, but I'm still looking for ideas. Either way - I'm glad you're truly friends of UU and I really appreciate your support.
I would also like to thank the other players - I hope you liked this game and will stay with UU for longer :)
Changes
Version 1.2.7
Starting today's update, changes will be introduced to even out the balance between ship classes. Currently, it is clear that the larger the ship, the greater the advantage For this reason the changes introduced will particularly affect Heavy ships and, to a lesser extent, Medium ones.
The main change – an increase in the price of all shells, i.e. phaser ammo, missiles, mines, repair cells, power cells.
Now it will look like this:
The price per package for Light class remains unchanged.
The price per package for Medium class increases from 300 gold, 7500 methane, 7500 magnetite to 400 gold, 10,000 methane, 10,000 magnetite.
The price per package for Heavy class increases from 400 gold, 10,000 methane, 10,000 magnetite to 600 gold, 15,000 methane, 15,000 magnetite.
Additionally, Heavy-class ships will now have more difficulty hitting Light-class ships, which have been granted an extra chance to avoid damage. This chance doesn't stack with Shields, it only acts as an additional bonus when damage is dealt only by Heavy class ship. We'll see how it works, in my tests it turned out nice, and I think now the little flies will turn into wasps and be more annoying to the big ones :)
These changes are intended to introduce greater diversity on the battlefield and within squads. They are necessary because currently Heavy ships are far too powerful and, moreover, not very expensive to maintain. There will be further changes or corrections in the future. The plans are really interesting, many ideas are lying in the drawer and waiting impatiently – unfortunately, there is not enough time to do them.
Bug fixes
- fixed no damage in PVP bug.
- fixed a bug related to the volume of the alarm informing about low or no ammo.
- fixed drone indicator bug - very rare, but sometimes the drone had no indicator (it looked like stealth drone).
- fixed a bug related to shooting - very rare, but it happened that bullets fired by another player would fly towards the observer/ourself, and not towards the target.
The cause of the bug related to leaving squad is being investigated. Yesterday, after the changes were made, this error did not appear, but we will continue to monitor this problem. If this bug happens to any of you again, please report it on Discord immediately.
